Thursday, September 18, 1997 - Inroads

Got through to the final scene of the film. I still need to go back and work on all the B roll sequences (the hard stuff), but the edit is now in viewable form! Very rough right now, but what does it matter for my purposes here?

Tomorrow and the weekend I'll clean up what I can and Sunday will show it to the editors.

It's so strange finally having something to show people. You mean this film is actually going to be viewed and not exist as a disconnected string of struggle, success and near misses?

It will be a good exercise for me to view what I have start to finish with others. This should help me to develop a more objective eye.

This weekend I also need to start with the time code list. I just haven't had the time. As it is I've been so self-absorbed, burning the candle at both ends. I hope my friends forgive me.

The rough dub's running time is 90 minutes, minus closing credits.

Speaking of credits, time to start thinking about the format for the closing credits.

I still need to make the "Special Thanks" list. I'll take notes on Sunday.
