About this Site.
You may be wondering what the World Wide Web needs with another Tori Amos web site. Well, many might think that it doesn't, but any real Tori fan, or as she likes to call them, "ears with feet", would love to see more then there already are. And there are a lot. Some good, some not as good; depending on how you judge 'em.
But what about this site?!?!
- Well, what makes this site so special?
- It's about Tori Amos. If that's not enough for you, then I hope to make this one of the bigger and better Tori sites around. But, like anything, it's all what you make of it. And I hope to make something of it.
- What can I find on this site?
- There will be the common stuff: links to other sites, pictures, lyrics, etc. There are also some less common things, such as Tori songs played with streaming audio and a Tori collectors page which will include my collection list and experiences and resources for fellow Tori collectors, and maybe a game or 2.
- About the design/layout.
- Most of the pages at this site have dark yellow text on black. I quite like it and have no trouble reading the text. Most of the time, I'm working on a computer that is in a dark corner of the room. I don't know if this makes any difference on how the page looks, but for those who want to know...
My monitor is a ViewSonic Professional Series P810 21" moniter set at 16 bit color (that's 65,536 colors), 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution with the refresh frequency set to 75 hertz. My brightness setting is a 100% and contrast is at 99%. If that means anything to you, then so be it.
The point being: If you have trouble reading the text on these pages, e-mail me and let me know. If I get enough complaints, I'll look for another color scheme.
