Everybody remember Battle of the Planets? In 1978 Sandy Frank Productions hacked the original Gatchaman series, and released a "sanitised" version suitable for the American market.  Of all the incarnations of Gatchaman I've seen, Battle of the Planets is my favorite.

Battle of the Planets was the Anime series that introduced me to Japanese Animation, and I have fond memories of playing "G-Force" games as a kid. (A friend of mine wore a cape to be Zoltar, but drew the line at wearing lipstick!)

The Pheonix was a classic ship, I've made models of it out of Lego, and wood. I aim to get a proper model kit someday, but I haven't found any kits as yet...
