Well, I'm glad you dropped in. This is my personal photo page. Most of these photos have been taken during my travels around the world. So, sit back in your chair and enjoy a travelling experience without leaving home. Hopefully, not to disappoint Garfield, these photos will be more enjoyable than some family home movies from the 8mm. film days. Ah-hah, ah-hah, ya, this could be better than doin' America. Ya, Ya, Ya . . . I knew I should have taken that left turn at Albequrque. The F18 fighter plane at a recent air show (above) and the A10 bomber (below). From the airshow, we fly around the world to my wife's home country of the Philippines. A fabulous country with many exotic sights and photo opportunities. Featured here are scenes from Manila and Baguio. The dormant volcano Arayat, in Pampanga, Philippines. This is the Edsa, the main toroughfare through Manila between Makati and Quezon City. This particular section is in Cubao. Below is a side street in Cubao featuring one of the local homes. Next, is a street scene in Quezon City. Note the large number of jeepneys. The Philippines answer to mass rapid transit. Here is a close up of the jeepney with yours truly sitting in the front seat. This jeepney comes equipped with a top notch car stereo system. Not all jeepneys are so luxurious. The city of romance in the Philippines is Baguio. It is a mountainous city with a climate similar to Vancouver in the summer. It is a very beautiful city with picturesque parks and spacious homes. The market place abounds with tasty fruits, vegetables and anything else you can think of. Here is the church and a mansion home both within walking distance of the city centre. From the heart of the Philippines, we now fly to Seoul and on to San Francisco before journeying on to the Rocky Mountains. The Rocky Mountains, best seen during Thanksgiving when all the colours are out and there is just the beginnings of winter snow on the ground. God created a paradise here that is best viewed by driving through in an R.V. Take your time, enjoy the wildlife, enjoy a bacon and egg breakfast by a crystal clear river and don't mind all the other tourists. This is one place you could spend a romantic honeymoon. Dress warm and cuddle up in the sleeping bag. Your eyes will be dazzled by God's splendor. Thank-you Lord for creating such wonders on earth for us to enjoy. My kids and I hope you have enjoyed viewing this web site. We leave you with this rare shot of us skating at G.M. Place - home of the Vancouver Canucks. Sometimes, it pays to have the right connections. Be sure to come back again as the photos will change and the site is always being updated. Your comments are always welcome. D.J.
