This railway trestle is located in northern British Columbia near William's Lake. Driving by, it always looks like a model railroad. The train trestle above traverses this river. It is the Fraser River and it drains from the Rocky Mountains down through the central part of British Columbia. It is B.C.'s largest and longest river and it's basin is the Pacific Ocean at Vancouver (Richmond). This river has been travelled by explorers, gold miners and settlers. It is a critical river to our forest and fishing industry. You can drive along this river from Vancouver to Lytton and take the train from Lytton to Prince George to follow the rest of the river. These photos were taken from the train. The journey on the train takes you by the crystal blue/green waters of Seaton Lake. Taking the train is a fabulous way to see the splendor of B.C.
