Harsh Realm is coming to DVD! Five years after the initial US airing, fans around the world will now be able to experience this fantastic, and unfortunately short-lived series. Adverts for the UK release have been included in many magazines (see image to the left from the UK's Total Film magazine - click for larger version), made all the more exciting as Harsh Realm has never been broadcast on UK television!
The UK (Region 2 DVD) release arrives in stores a month before the US (Region 1) release, with each set featuring different package designs. You can view details of the US release at Amazon.com, and the UK/Europe release at Amazon.co.uk.
Further to June's update on Life As We Know It, starting from September 23rd the show will air in the US on Thursdays at 9pm on ABC!

The latest exciting news is that the previously titled TV pilot "Doing It" has been picked up by ABC, and is due to begin airing in the US in September! The show has been retitled "Life as We Know It", and among others will co-star Kelly Osbourne. A publicity shot from the show can be seen on the left (click to enlarge).
I have read good buzz about this show on the internet (especially since it comes from the writers of the fantastic series Freaks and Geeks). You can keep updated on the show's details by visiting TV Tome.
Unfortunately there is still no planned wide release for Speak (you can see the 1-sheet and still photographs from the film's time at Sundance here). However rumour has it the film may air on US network Showtime this summer, or receive a theatrical release in the summer of 2005.
On a final note I should point out I have updated my email address. Receiving almost 1000 spam emails in four days stretches was becoming quite taxing to deal with, so I have been forced to create a new account. From now on please contact me at dbsweeney_online@**REMOVE THIS TEXT**yahoo.com. In order to help beat the 'spambots' I also need to corrupt my email address so it can't be picked up automatically. When emailing me, please remove the tag to reveal my full address. Drastic, I realise, but it's the only way I know to try and beat the spammers!
