That droid was named BL-17, and looked just like Fett wearing the same mandalorian armor. Fett is rumoured to have a closet full of those armors. He once befriended C-3PO and turned him against R2-D2 while Fromm's gang put a bomb in Joben's racing ship, the White Witch. Fett chased Thall and Kea, but they escaped, joining in the speeder race. At the same time, C-3PO learned of the treachery of BR-17 -- who was then crushed by falling machines -- and discovered the bomb planted in the Witch. Since he was a droid, however, he could fire the blaster with frightening accuracy and serve as the perfect backup for Boba Fett. As a droid BL-17 didnīt have any heavy weapons, he was accurate enough to just use a blaster. With the blaster he was a deadly backup, helping Fett to get many bounties. But suddenly at a moment BL-17 dissapeared, nobody ever saw him again and his memory fade away. Now heīs just as big a mystery as Fett himself.
