| A trandoshan bounty hunter, this three-fingered, three-toed reptiliod long specialized in hunting down wookies-sometimes enslaving them for the Empire, sometimes skinning them for their pelts. He had several run-ins with Chewbacca and Han Solo, and each time was humiliated when they made good their escape from him and other bounty hunters. Bossk heeded Darth Vader's call to renedezvous with other bounty hunters aboard Vader's Super Star Destroyer, the Executor. Later, he and other finders tried to wrest the prize catch-Han Solo in carbonite-away from Boba Fett. Bossk exuded a brackish smee, which kept most beings from gettin too close. He had supersensitive eyes and thus hated light. His flight suit, obviously designed for a human pilot, was too small for proper fit. His ship, the Hound's Tooth, was a light freighter modified for Wookie hunting. Bossk was bested by Han Solo years earlier when Solo intervened to rescue about a dozen Wookie slaves-including Chewbacca-that Bossk had hunted down. Much later Bossk accompanied the Wookie bounty hunter Chenblambec and his human assistant to Lomabu III, a swampy world that the Empire decided to use as a Wookie prison camp. Bossk was tricked and captured by the duo and turned over to Imperial Governor Io Desnand, who planned to have him executed and turned into a reptile-skin dress for his wife. |
