The 1966 Batman

In 1966 the Batman TV Show aired and brought on a wave of Bat-Mania that is still felt today. There are many people who truly believe in Adam West's portrail of Batman. Others believe Batman is darker, more mysterious; a night-dwelling creature helping innocent victims while trying to figure out his own life. What do I think? I like both "takes" on the Batman character. I think the TV show was a great way to bring publicity to the Batman comics, which might have died years ago without it. Bat-Mania spread around the country like a wild fire. Today there are still millions of Batman fans, both new and old!
