Bio:
Full name: James Eugene Carrey (His family's original name was Carrè!)
Born: January 17th, 1962, in Newmarket, Ontario (Canada)
He was the youngest of 4 children.
When he was but a toddler, he and his family moved to Aurora (That's also in Canada.)
His nickname became: Jimmy [Eu]Gene the Stringbean
When he was a teenager, he and his family were janitors at Titan Wheels, and they lived in a tent on their aunt's lawn.
In his 1st comedy club experience, he wore a yellow polyester suit and got "booed" off the stage.
Jim first started talking out of his butt when he disagreed with Keanan Ivory Wayans on the funniness of a sketch for In Living Color. Jim proceeded to go through the sketch talking "from the rear".
Jim and his good friend, Phil Roy, wrote a song titled "Heaven Down Here". The title came from when Jim and Phil (they were roommates when Jim wasn't doing so well) had just bought an 18th century painting and were trying to hang it. Phil told Jim he couldn't see the top half and that he should move "Heaven down here." DING! A light went on in Jim's head! The song was later performed by Tuck & Patti on their album, "Learing How To Fly."

Jim recently decided to wear the first fashion ever to a fashion/runway show -- a fig leaf. Jim was even late to the show because he had to get his "leaf" refitted. It, uh, didn't fit.
