What can I add - that this was the sexiest love scene I
have seen so far on the show. I mean - I really enjoy
the scenes with Karen and Joe. And Eve and Scott are funny and tender.
And usually Frank and Julie are a bit boring - although on Thursday they
weren't boring!!! But these scenes were tender, compassionate, and truly
sexy!!! Two mature persons finally giving in to a desire they had been
containing for many months, and even then, the one-liners were good!!
~
I like the Scott/Eve scenes - but I have to admit the really
sexy scene stealers are Matt/Ellen. It was worth waiting for and I hope
we get more. BTW - doesn't he have a truly great body. I love her dimples,
but his body is exceptional. And, yes, I know that she is such a great
acress that she makes anyone look good - but this was the very best acting
I have seen from him. ...These were the best-written love scenes in the
show to date. Tender, compassionate, funny, and a true sense of two mature
people finally facing each other and their problems and showing it in the
best way possible - giving in to a real passion.

Vexing is what *I* say...whooo dawgy! hoochi mamma!
This couple is ~h~o~t~ and, not in just a sexual way, their
attitudes are awesome!

Yes indeed, today was a banner day for all Matt & Ellen
fans, wasn't it? My only wish is that they had not had to share their screen
time with others who we've already seen in multiple love scenes. I know,
I know that we were treated to an extraordinarily romantic expression of
their love for one another, and we're grateful for that. But, we've waited
almost a whole year for Matt and Ellen to consummate their love, and the
scenes today were awesome and deserved to be prolonged. We just don't seem
to ever get to see Matt long enough to suit us, do we? <g> Mitch Longley
& Debbi Morgan have done an outstanding job with their characterization
of Matt & Ellen. I hope that Ellen stays in Port Charles and that
their
story continues to occupy a prominent place on the show.

It was great wasn't it? I loved it all except Grace's phone
call. Who the heck calls that late and why does Ellen keep her answering
machine in the bedroom anyway?
Mitch and Debbi are always terrific and
today's show was no exception--terrific acting.

I thought that Friday's show was about as good as it gets. There
seemed to be a lot of things packed into the show. I remember thinking
before the show started that I hoped that they would pick up with Matt
and Ellen where they left off on Thursday, and I knew from the magazine
scoops that Victor was going to lay a bombshell on Kevin. So, I hoped that
we'd get the combination of those two types of scenes. We got exactly what
I wished for and more. The loves scenes were done so sensitively, and both
characters have such a sensual nature that the results were amazing. And
on top of all of that, we got the other stories too. It seemed like almost
an hour long show. It was packed full of good stuff. The entire show left
me sitting there in my Lazy Boy saying to myself, ''WOWIE!'' which is a
rating I reserve for the very best episodes. My cat missed the show. She's
been whining for me to replay it this afternoon, and I may soon give into
her wishes.

I am so glad they have given Mitch this opportunity to not only
entertain us, but also to educate. He is so awesome, has it all, handsome,
smart, charismatic. What a guy!
And this has been done with sensitivity
but yet it is still so sensual.
We need to see more of these two! They
are hot!

Mitch Longley . . . <thud!> <Ahem!> Okay, I'm better now
. . . <g> Seriously, I loved the Matt/Ellen scenes today - I thought
they were very well written, acted, filmed, etc. Part of me wants to strangle
Matt for so calmly accepting the fact that Ellen's leaving in the morning,
but the other part understands that he knows what a great opportunity
this
job is for her, and wants her to be happy . . . .*sigh*

Mitch Longley took my breath away today. Every scene he's in
is pure magic and with Matt and Ellen finally confirming their love, I'm
absolutely floating on his talent and strength. And on a purely side note,
he looks incredibly sexy with his shirt off. So. . .where are the Matt
Harmon Guardian Angels? I'm a member but I haven't heard from my fellow
Angels in a long time. Mitch has been utterly fantastic and he needs our
fan support more than ever! Matt needs to be center-stage. I'm also glad,
from a purely creative/fair p.o.v that Matt's ''disability'' (yeah, right)
wasn't used as an excuse to cover up/prevent a love scene. Matt and Ellen's
scene was probably one of the most romantic scenes on ''Port Charles''
to date and I'm glad that the issue of his spinal cord injury was mentioned
and also put to rest. Kudos to the writers for not chickening out!

Mala, I couldn't possibly have said it better than you did.
The scenes today were so beautiful and romantic. Mitch Longley and Debbi
Morgan were incredible together, and the love scenes were the best I've
seen on Port Charles so far. I am so gratified that TPTB didn't shirk their
responsibility in addressing SCI and sexuality. Of course, having Mitch
as a resource no doubt made their task much easier :) We all benefited
from the knowledge that being different doesn't preclude our abilities
to love and be loved in return.
Thank you for your thoughts on today's
scenes.

Well, I don't think I can add anything that hasn't been written
already, but I just need to express what a great job Debbie Morgan and
Mitch Longley did. Their scenes were touching, romantic....absolutely beautiful.
Whereas some of the other couples on Port Charles have gone after each
other like animals, Matt and Ellen's relationship was handled so maturely
and that came across ten times better, IMO. I liked how they were able to mesh romance, humor, and education
about SCI and sexuality so perfectly into one scene. Nothing was overdone
and nothing was ignored. Mitch looked beautiful, in more ways than one. I'm so happy that Matt and Ellen got a fair share of screen
time to give the storyline proper impact. This was a long time coming. It was beautifully done.

Beautiful scenes ... beautifully done.
That alone would have been very satisfying, but to have also
broken ground in the way TV deals with paralysis/sexuality -- long overdue
and most welcome. Thanks Mitch, Debbie, and TPTB.
Looking forward to their
storyline continuing to get the attention it deserves.

As the wife of a paraplegic, all I can say is it's about time!
An actual disabled person doing these beautiful meaningful love scenes,
groundbreaking TV. I actually a lot of years ago had a coworker ask me
if my husband was capable of having sex! Can you imagine! Mitch Longley
is such a hunk, (actually reminds me of a younger version of my husband)
and he is a great actor. Those gorgeous eyes could melt icebergs!
- mrsoats
|
|
Now this is a couple -- take note writers for Scott and Eve
- wow, beautiful, magical, sexy, moving! That's what I think of the scenes
with Matt and Ellen. I loved how much they talked and shared and then made
love. Scott and Eve are all animal attraction -- I've seen nothing more.
JMHO, but I'd watch Matt and Ellen over Scott and Eve anyday!

All I can say is...WHOOOOHOOOO! Those scenes with Matt and Ellen
doing the horizonal hula were well done. I loved it when he explained that
despite his limitations he could still do it! Mitch Longley put a little
comedy into the explaination. (''that concludes the medical part of our
show.'') LOL! Ms. Debbi Morgan portrayed Ellen perfectly in those scenes
at the beginning of the show! (applause applause!!) The thing that irks
me is when Grace called and they were right in the middle of it and the
moment was lost. (Thanks Grace!!! Hummph, girl we have to work on your
timing!!) They had an article in SOAP OPERA WEEKLY about this part of the
story and I read MOST of it but I mostly read the part where Mitch talked
about how he goes and talks about this to many people. (Gee when I saw
that I got caught up in the moment!!
The acting was THAT good!
Kudos to
Mitch and Debbi - fantastic job!!! Ta and Luv,

Awwww, Matt - Those melty eyes, that husky voice, that handsome,
expressive face, that gorgeous body - what a display of sensuality. What
woman wouldn't feel special being loved by Matthew Harmon? Kudos and thanks
again to Mitch Longley for treating us to a wonderful performance. I can't
wait for the next episode :)

I was melting in my chair! I have waited and waited for Matt
and Ellen to hook up, and I definitely wasn't disappointed, now I just
have to wait for the climax (no pun intended) of their scenes on friday's
show. I would have much preferred to listen to Matt romance Ellen a bit
more, than hear about Frank's Betty Crocker fantasy. Kudos PC, the episode
rocked and I am sure Fridays' can only get better! :) Way to go Matt and
Ellen!
- Cepi

I loved today's show, too. My regret is that they weren't able
to give this romance (that took long enough to flourish) proper airtime.
I hold out hope that tomorrow's show will give Matt and Ellen more time.
Not only are Mitch and Debbi doing a great job, but they will be focusing
on a very important topic,
SCI and sexuality, and I hope it's not trivialized.

Second favorite line of those scenes ...(first was already mentioned
"...I'd rather spend a night with you...'') ''...You're safe with me.."
Safe and loved...it doesn't get much better than that... Thanks, Matt,
for putting a smile on my face that hasn't left yet. Only possible complaint
is that the scenes were much too short.

There they sat, on the couch and she said she did care and he
was right. Off to a commercial and other story lines and then there they
are again on the couch and he is saying something like - I want to thank
you for the most wonderful day of my life. And I thought --- Ohhh Nooo
- they did it all during the commercial and now we are just supposed to
know they made love - I was really mad for about 10 seconds - then I realized
he only was talking about what she had said, and they began and they began
and they began . . . .
- Charmah
|
|
Ah, for tomorrow!!!!! I totally agree with you! The scene that
almost made me melt was when they were on the couch and Matt said something
along the lines of ''I would rather spend one night with you than the rest
of my life with someone else'' ...man oh man an amazing line delivered
from an amazing actor...
doesn't get much better than that!

I love these two together. Their relationship is so very
complex and can be
played out on so many different levels. I can't wait
to see that lies
ahead for this totally believable and charming couple.

Matt and Ellen ... are one of my favorite couples on PC. It
took a long time for Ellen to finally tell Matt how she feels about him.
She has been distancing herself from Matt for the longest time and if you
saw them over the months you missed then you will know why they are on
the cover of a lot of soap magazines and why fans such as myself are so
happy to finally see Matt and Ellen together after all this time.

Indeed, who wouldn't feel loved by someone like Matt Harmon.
Those love scenes were so filled with tenderness and romance, and just
the right mixture of humor - my goodness, I just about experienced a complete
meltdown !!! <g> I loved the way that Matt's disability was handled
and his announcement, "Well that concludes the medical portion of our program." Of course, this was not about disability, or the fact that Ellen was
about to be made love to by a disabled man in a wheelchair. This was about
two capable, mature people in love, who had longed for one another for
almost a year, and who were now ready to consummate a relationship. The
issue of disability was handled with just the right mixture of information
and humor, reflective of the input that Mitch Longley had into the script.
Mitch Longley is absolutely both awesome and delightful in his role of
Matthew Harmon.
I hope that he and Debbi Morgan continue to have
a prominent
place on the show.
I never get tired of watching them. :)

I thought that today's episode of PC was one that just couldn't
be beat. It had such a variety of scenes that there had to be something
for everyone. I thought the scenes with Matt and Ellen were beautiful.
I got the biggest laugh when Matt said, "And that concludes the medical
portion of our show." Mitch had that cute expression on his face when he
said it, as if he was done with the educational bit just as Matt was. You
know that Wendy and PC will win lots of awards for presenting material
that explains the sexuality of the spinal cord injured person -- as well
they should. But it was as if Matt was telling us okay, that's enough of
the education, now let's get on with the show. I was still giggling over
that line during the commercial.

WOW - and that's saying a lot. SEXY.
I thought the initial Karen and Joe love scenes were funny,
and tender and fit them just right. And Eve and Scott were funny and cute
and I loved them greatly, but they weren't truly sexy. The last scene with
Julie and Frank was interesting - and rough - and their earlier love scenes
were boring (at least to me).But the scenes with Ellen and Matt were just
sexy. A little fun - cute lines - but mostly just sexy. Of course, the
best line of the whole show - maybe for the whole year - was when Matt
said that that concludes the medical advice portion of the show. Maybe
the writers knew what they were doing
when they had us wait all year for
this.

All I can say about those Matt & Ellen scenes today is WOW.
I loved them. They make such a great couple! They looked wonderful together.
I loved the way they handled the situations about Matt's disability and
Ellen's husband's death. They are so perfect for each other. The only thing
that ruined it was that stupid call from Grace at the end.
But it was still
amazing!!!

Hi, So good.......Finally... Matt keep up the loving!!!!!!!
I really like him I hope the story lines stay so good for him. I mean his
plots are great and he makes the acting great.
Good work Matt... So hot.
Hey do you think they are going to try to make
him to walk again or help
more kids.

<Mitch Longley was also, ( I cant really decide if I --
hum-- if I thought his emotions or his body was more beautiful!!)
> Boy, he really does have a great body, doesn't he.
But the tenderness of the scenes was what really got to me.
Truly sexy.

Yes!!!!! I have waited
twenty-nine-million-four-hundred-twenty-five-thousand-
five-hundred seconds for this moment to come!!! And that is a long time!!...
in my opinion yesterdays and todays scenes between Matt and Ellen were
absolutely beautiful! The words, the emotion, the connection between these
two beautiful, people was incredible! Debbi Morgan, is by far, in my opinion,
one of the absolute best actresses on television. She can go from giggling
and smiling one minute and in just a short time become so serious with
tears in her eyes, and make you believe she is really truly feeling the
emotion you see. Mitch Longley was also, ( I cant really decide if I --
hum -- if I thought his emotions or his body was more beautiful!!) so,
for now Ill just say this is one very incredible, VERY gorgeous and very
romantic man. He has amazing acting ability, he does everything with such
emotion and feeling. Like I mentioned above, I have been waiting for this
moment for a long time. I always knew that Matt and Ellen would be together.
Now, I am just hoping and praying that since she is leaving for San Diego,
that she either realizes that she has made a mistake and comes back to
Port Charles, or that since Grace turns up dead on Tuesday, that she comes
back and realizes that she needs to stay in Port Charles. These, past few days have been so absolutely incredible, it is amazing what these guys
can pull off.

I saw today's episode (5/8/98), and thought Matt and Ellen's
scenes together blew my socks off.
If TPTB put Matt Harmon on the back

A TENDER MOMENT - I just have this to say about matt/ellens
scenes today. They were tender, compassionate, and oh so very romantic.
It was between the right people at the exact right moment.
Also I have
to believe every woman dreams of having a man like
Matt was today in this
very important step in her life.

I've been waiting forever for Matt and Ellen to get together.
It was a great scene. Very romantic and very sexy. Debbi Morgan and Mitch
Longley are the best. Their scenes were everything I hoped it would be.
My only complaint was that their love scenes were TOO SHORT. What's that
about, writers?
Next time make those love scenes longer.
MATT AND ELLEN RULE!

I TOTALLY AGREE with everything everyone has said.
