Top 10 Reasons why I LOVE Matt!!

1.
Using a wheelchair doesn't stop him from being a man of action, whether he's jumping
out of his wheelchair to treat Dr. Boardman, or running from the mob.

2.
He has tremendous compassion for the people around him, and he takes the time to
listen to and genuinely care about everyone from his girlfriend's mother,
to his landlord, to a frightened juvenile delinquent like Lark.

3.
He has no self-pity -- he always takes responsibility for his own actions,
and expects others to do the same. He asks for no special favors.

4.
He stands up for himself against self-righteous bullies,
always giving as good as he gets.

5.
He fights for his goals against tremendous odds. He pursued his dream of being a doctor even though he knew that the witness protection program might move him at any time
and he demanded that he be given the right to become a surgeon when it would
have been easier to just be some other kind of doctor.

6.
He never allows his personal feelings to get in the way of his treatment of patients. He is a complete professional even when he has to treat someone who is yelling insults at him, or someone who tried to prevent him from becoming a surgeon.

7.
He was willing to sacrifice his entire personal identity and his relationship with
his family in order to put a group of criminals and murderers in prison.

8.
From his expressive eyes to his salt and pepper hair,
he is unbelievably gorgeous, sexy, and desireable.

9.
His love for Ellen is beautiful and intense,
and he expresses that love not only through his actions, but also through some
of the most articulate and passionate speeches I have ever heard.

10.
His smile melts my heart.
