After watching the opening credits, I should have known better. I know you can only do so much with a meager budget, but why squander it on cheezy computer-generated animation that loops back over and over? Couldn't they use the money to bring back at least one of the characters (not counting Angela) from "Night of the Demons II"? At least they're more charismatic. Most of the characters in "Night of the Demons III" are either stupid or obnoxious, to the point where their deaths from the demons can double as a sigh of relief. The acting is sub-par even for a horror flick. It's almost as if the director just automatically settled for the first take in each scene, regardless of the results. Is this movie a total loss? Well, quite surprisingly, no. Angela actually does some cool things (like pistol fellatio!) in "Night of the Demons III," and some of the characters fall prey to rather amusing fates. Nevertheless, if you picked a horror movie at random, chances are it will be better than this one. |
