I know, I know. This movie is not brand new, but hey I'm not about to spend eight bucks on a movie just so that you guys can read all new reviews. It's my page and I can do what I want! Anyway, I really enjoyed this movie starring who wlse but Brad Pitt! Actually I hated him in this movie. He did a good acting job minace the cheezy accent that he used. It took a while to get used to the accent! The movie was dare I say it... Educational. But it wasn't educational in a bad way. To shorten it up it was about the Dahli Lama of Tibet. (I have no idea if I spelled that right!) Anyway, Brad Pitt makes friends with the Lama, which is something that is not supposed to happen. Then China tries to take over Tibet and that is sort of what the majority of the movie is about. I won't say anything more. It was a long movie but well worth it. There was a lotof action and a lot to try to understand. I recommend renting this movie, all though it isn't really one that you could watch over and over again. Any Brad Pitt fans will love the movie although I'm sure that all Brad Pitt fans have seen it already. I'll give it 4 stars, well worth watching!
The Full Monty
Yeah, I know another old movie. But this one I got to see for free! It was well,
full of British humour. If you really want to enjoy the movie you have to understand a
lot of it or atleast be prepared for it. If you have strong values against stripping then
I do not recommend this movie. Let's just say that there are 6, to put it nicely, ugly guys
that decide to get money by putting on a strip show. Not much of a storyline but it was funny.
If you happen to find a few extra bucks lying around the house and you are in need of a laugh
then rent the Full Monty. I'll give it 2 stars, a good laugh!
Titanic
If anyone has not seen this movie yet, I have something to say to you.
'What are you, CRAZY?! Get your butt in gear!' In my opinion (and I know that
many other people agree with me on this fact) Titanic was one of the best movies ever created.
This is my review on the movie. I am not that great at reviews but bare with me.
Anastasia
A classic cartoon about the famous Russain Romanov Princess. Well actually she's a
dutchess. Anastasia. It is about the terrible incident in 1916 (I believe) that killed all
of the Romanovs, including the Czar. Anastasia however survived the people's rebellion.
That was the truth. In the movie though, the rebellion takes place because of an evil sorceror,
Rasputin. Anastasia survives his curse, but she loses her memory and when she tries to find her
past, she meets up with a servant boy, Dimitri. They, of course fall in love and together try
to fight Rasputin.

First I will give everyone a brief summary and for those of you who have not yet seen
the movie, I will try not to spoil it. Although there isn't much that you can spoil.
The movie is of course about the grand ship that swept the nation with its splendor. The two
main characters in the story are Rose (played by Kate Winslet), a first class lady who did
not enjoy the life that she was born into, and Jack (played by Leonardo DiCaprio), was
a third class artist. Rose was extremely unhappy with her life especially since she did not
love the man she was to marry. Jack was an easy going young man who took life in stride.
The two, of course fall madly in love, (I'll spare you the details) and so on. Eventually
though the ship sinks. Wrenching out the audiences hearts, and gripping on to everyone's
emotions.
Sure the love story was slightly pathetic. However it was possible that something
like that could have happened on Titanic. In fact something similar to that did occur.
There was a man and his mistress that borded Titanic. When the ship began to sink, he put her
in a life boat and gave her a neckless. He of course was killed but she lived through it and
later gave birth to a child who was supposedly conceived on the ill-fated Titanic.
So that proves that the love story was possible however it was forbidden. The special
effects in the movie were very well done. It's hard to believe that when the scenes are
filmed none of the special effects are there. You don't see that until after everything
is put together. The ship itself looked quite realistic. It was built specifically for this
movie, however only half of it was built. They only had need for one side, the rest was just
done as a mirror image. The director, James Cameron, did an excellent job. He followed the
facts completely and never strayed from the truth. All of the guessing that he did was based
on the facts that he had learned. I think that the most amazing part of the movie was in the
beggining when you actually see the Titanic under the water. I can't believe that Cameron
actually dived to see it. His decision to dive two and a half miles under the ocean did not
please many people. They all thought that Titanic the movie would sink just as its ship did.
Boy were they wrong! In fact Titanic made $402.6 million after only ten days in the box office.
I strongly reccomend this movie. I would have to give it 5 stars...a potential classic.

This is a great cartoon musical done by Fox. Not exactly original since the format for
the movie must have come from Disney, however it was very well done. The art was excellent
and the music was great. I recommend the C.D. Even though this movie was loosely based on the
truth it was still a great story that you can't help but love.
I give it 4 stars...an excellent movie.
It is now out on video, for only 17.99 (Canadian). Here's the review on the back of the
