Week Three Stats

Week Three Stats

10/20/02

# hours in class: 14
# of credits: 16
Album of the week: Big Brother & the Holding Co. - Live at Winterland '68
Song of the week: Big Brother & the Holding Co. - "Farewell Song" (original & live versions)
Video of the week: Janis Joplin - "Raise Your Hand" (the half that's downloaded)
Download of the week: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - "Woodstock" (record time, less than 2 minutes--I love DSL!)
Hangouts: the Fishbowl, padded bench in McKenzie Hall (a small step above the floor), wooden bench outside Friendly Hall & I-5
Favorite Classes: Vis.Comm. & German ("I'm not laughing at you...")
Favorite Professor: anybody from the J school
Highlights of the week: quitting my job before they fired me, getting added to the list of freelancers for the Emerald, called for an interview with Allen Hall Public Relations, Mom getting hired at Wal-Mart and coming to visit, Whitney and Jordan appearing in a Target ad
Couldn't survive without: my mortar board and milk (plus movies, music, books, guys with cute butts--you know, important stuff!)
Students on campus: they should get together with the Greeners
Riots like I said before--maybe not here, but to other people--if they hadn't made the University dry this year, this wouldn't have happened
Places I spend the most money: Fred Meyer, Hot Topic, Suncoast & anywhere at Valley River Center
Calls: still Mom & Dad, though I should call everyone else more
Mail: still write to Grandma & Grandpa the most; get the most mail from Safeway, Tupperware & AT&T Broadband
Favorite building on-campus: the law building, the EMU, the Collier House (looks cool from the outside) and Allen Hall
Least favorite: McKenzie Hall and any of the dorms (Thank God I don't live on-campus!)
Best thing about driving to/from school: stay cool/warm, my parking place, roundabouts ("this thing must corner like it's on rails...")
Worst thing crossing three one-way streets, with two-way bike traffic on Alder, especially when the bikes don't follow traffic rules, ride on the sidewalk, etc.
Health: no migraines from July thru Oct. 19, though it wasn't a bad one. Now I have that coked-out, someone-ran-over-me-with-a-semi feeling, and I didn't even take anything for it! Plus, my nosebleeds came back, so bye-bye half of my allergy meds. Wonder how long that will last. Does anybody know when maple trees pollenate?
Will I survive: Oh, sure, if I can get an exact dupe of Vanity Fair's table of contents by Thursday without my Pagemaker for Dummies book. Not a problem!
