Summary
Richie becomes romantically involved with one of
MacLeod's old flames, Kristin. After Methos reminds MacLeod of his
student's danger, MacLeod tries to convince Richie that Kristin will only
attempt to kill him. Richie refuses to listen. Duplicating MacLeod's
affair with Kristin almost exactly, Kristin attacks Richie after he dumps
her and then goes after his friend, Maria, out of jealousy. MacLeod and
Methos arrive at Kristin's house in time to save Maria and MacLeod fights
Kristin, but he can't bring himself to kill her. Identifying himself as
someone born "long before the age of chivalry," Methos fights Kristin and
takes her head.

Methos: "You dump her, and then you turn your back on her? Talk
about the blind leading the visually challenged."
Methos: "Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod."
MacLeod: "That's who I am."
Methos: "Well, I guess someone has to be."
