Summary
Two hundred years ago in New Orleans, Methos -- in the
guise of Dr. Benjamin Adams -- slept with Charlotte, the slave of the
immortal Morgan Walker. Walker kills Charlotte and blames Methos for her
death. In the present, Walker challenges Methos, who refuses. Then Walker
captures his Watcher, Amy, who is Joe's daughter. Walker sets his henchmen
to watch Joe after finding Amy's journal. The henchmen find Joe just as
Joe is trying to convice Methos not to leave town to avoid Walker. Methos
saves Joe from getting shot, and the two flee. While Methos later kills
the henchmen, Joe receives a call from Walker, who wants to exchange Amy
for Methos. Joe leads Methos to Walker's hideout and tells Methos the deal
before they go inside, but Methos already had guessed. Walker and Methos
fight; Methos wins.
Quotes
Joe: "Just because you couldn't keep it in your pants 200 years
ago, you expect me to turn over the chronicles."
Methos: "That was the basic idea, yeah."
Methos: "Do you know where I should be now? I should be thirty-
five thousand feet in the air, sinking my teeth into a succulent steak,
just anticipating that the stewardess is coming to plump my pillow."
Methos: "Joe, we actually make a really good team. We're like
Scully and Mulder. Sipowitz and Simone. Cinigula and Inkitartus. Well, not
Inkitartus because he was a horse."
Methos: "I'm easily amused."
Methos: "Do the words 'compulsive-obsessive' mean anything to
you?"
Methos: "Just because I don't like to fight, doesn't mean that
I can't."
Methos: "She'll be back."
Joe: "How do you know that?"
Methos: "Because I'm very old and wise."
