 House of GamesAnother David Mamet script, this time with Mamet himself directing. This has been called the ultimate con game movie, and I'd have to agree. Lindsay Crouse is a therapist who gets involved in the underworld of the confidence game through one of her clients, through whom she meets the flashy and maybe not so trustworthy Joe Mantegna. Pay lots of attention to the supporting cast, there are some gems in this one. Mamet's recent directorial effort, The Spanish Prisoner, is another good con game movie.
