The Explorer Six Pack
With a name like this I bet you were expecting some new
wave music that is on the edge. Sorry to disappoint... This page will follow what
music is currently loaded in the six disc changer of my Ford Explorer. Why you ask,
'cause we can. Keep in mind that this is driving music and must be agreed upon by
both drivers (in other words no sleepy music and I have to give in on some albums). Reviewed

( the "<double disk>"
award refers to the fact that we were tried of taking the CD in & out of the player
all the time to hear it in the house, so we bought two)

- David Matthews Band - Crash
- The first of the double disks. By far our favorite album. It is just enough to keep you going
when your passing through the corn fields of Illinois.

- Dave Matthews Band - Before These Crowded Streets
- The newest of the double disks. Picked
up the second after seeing them in concert.
They are a bit dark on this album

- Barenaked Ladies Stunt
- Found this band on the an iMac in CompUSA.
Apple gave away the video with Quicktime 3. Currently our most listened
to album.

- Alanis Morissette Jagged Little Pill
- Becci's pick. Don't have much to say,
but for Car music it's not bad.
|
|
- Matchbox 20 Yourself Or Someone Like You
- Lots of good tunes to keep you wake. Works
well with the DMB albums.
|
|
- Sarah McLachlan Surfacing
- Another Becci selection. It's a nice
contrast to the other music in the player. (A bit more soothing for rush hour
traffic)
