Its summer and the season when you see a lot of fresh vegetables. From asparagus to Zucchini they sure are yummy! Do you like to cook ? If so here are some recipes..
Let's start with asparagus..

Asparagus cream sauce:


preparation time: 20 minutes
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1/2 pound fresh asparagus
3 tablespoon clarified butter or butter
2 tablespoon barley flour
21/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon salt
paprika for garnish

Method: Wash asparagus and chop into 1/2 -1 inch pieces. Warm butter in a heavy saucepan or skillet, sautee asparagus till tender. Stir barley flour into the butter. Add buttermilk slowly stirring well into the skillet contents, to avoid clump formation. Cook over low heat until thick. Add salt, sprinkle paprika over the sauce while serving.(or black pepper). Add a dash of lime juice for tanginess before you serve. Add basil or oregano herbs before you serve.

You can eat it with rice, toast or eggs!

B for Banana's..

Are you stuck with bananas that look over ripe, well here's something cool for summer!
1 banana
skimmed milk or 2% milk 1 cup(chilled).
Blend the banana and the milk in a blender to a smooth consistency. Add cinnamon, or cardamom for flavor.The skim milk feels sweet and thicker in consistency! Great for kids who don't like to drink plain milk!!
