Recovery period at home
I have some strips of tape across my lip to help lessen the tension as the healing process begins. I am also wearing arm restraints on my arm to keep me from putting anything in my mouth. I only have to wear them for 10 days. I am lucky. Other kids have to wear them for 2 weeks or more, depending on their doctor.
