Frequently Asked Questions:
What do
you mean by "Sexy and Erotic"?
Our work can be categorized into four types of
sessions: Lingerie, Topless, Nude ("Playboy" style), or Nude
(X-rated).
How long do your sessions run?
Sessions usually run between 1 and 4 hours. If you allow yourself to be
photographed in more "categories" of sessions, your sessions will
generally last longer than if you only allow lingerie or lingerie and topless
photographs.
How does your pay structure work?
Elsewhere on this website it has been stated that we pay between $25 and $100
per hour for modeling sessions. The actual rate offered is based on a number of
factors, but can roughly be broken down as follows:
$25
/ hour for modeling in lingerie
$35 / hour for topless modeling
$50 / hour for nude "Playboy style" modeling (model is nude, but
little or no full view of her genitalia)
$100 / hour for nude "erotic" modeling (model's entire body in view)
The model's rate of pay and the degree of erotica are always determined before the session begins, so that there are no surprises for the model or the photographer.
Where do the photo shoots take
place?
JMG Photography does not have a "studio" that we work out of . If we
use the same location for our pictures over and over our photography will become
predictable and boring. Instead, we prefer to use a different location for each
shoot -- we may rent a room or a suite in a hotel (and, yes, it's always a very
nice, upscale hotel - no Motel 6's or seedy joints on the Berlin Turnpike for
us), or we may rent a beach house or similar location, or we might simply shoot
in the great outdoors during the good weather. In all cases, our locations are
secure, upscale and beautiful.
Can I get pictures for
my portfolio?
Yes, within reason. You won't be able to have copies of all of the photos from
your session (otherwise you'd have to be paying us!). We do know how hard it is
to get started in this business, though, so JMG Photography may make some of the
photographs available for you to use in the continual marketing of yourself as a
model. If you are interested in this option, please discuss this with the
photographer at your audition.
How should I look /
What should I wear for the shoot?
Your wardrobe will be determined by the photographer at the time of the audition
and will likely be based on your personality, the type of photos being taken,
and on the of clothing already in your wardrobe. You should expect to bring a
selection of outfits and sexy lingerie to the photo session on the day of the
shoot. Following are some other things to consider to help make the pictures as
beautiful as possible:
What can I expect at the audition?
The audition is a time for you and the photographer to get to know each other
and to go over the type of work you are comfortable with and to get answers any
other questions you may have about our photography. You should expect to undress
(to the point required for the anticipated actual photography), and to pose a
bit for the photographer so that both of you can get a feel for what will happen
during the actual shoot. You may provide a headshot or a photo of yourself or
the photographer can take a snapshot or two of you so that we'll have something to refer
back to when we call you back to schedule a shoot.
What
will be expected of me?
You will be expected to arrive on time for the photo session prepared to work
with the photographer to make the types of photographs that were agreed to
during the audition. Models that don't show up for a shoot are never called for
work again.
You are also expected to arrive for the shoot completely sober, and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs of any kind (legal or otherwise). You will also remain sober for the duration of the shoot. If the photographer feels that you are impaired in any way, the shoot will be stopped immediately, as will the "time clock" that determines your paycheck.
Will
there be a private place for me to change and prepare for the shoot?
Yes, there will. Your privacy and comfort and trust are paramount to the success
of the shoot, and we will work hard to maintain all three. You're here to work
with the photographer to make artful and sexy photographs and nothing more.
How
do I know you're not a rapist or murderer?
I guess the short answer is... You don't. But the information on this
page might ease you mind.
