Elongation of the GTV rebound straps
As recommended by Alan Ward, I decided to increase the effective length of the rebound straps on the rear suspension of my 74 GTV. Removal is simple, first you need to remove at least 2 of the 4 bolts from the metal plate that closes the loop, separate both ends (it helps to losen up the other 2 bolts), then remove the only 2 large phillips screws that attatch the whole assembly to the body on top.
Get a legth of stock metal of the same length and thickness, and cut 4 pieces about 2 inches longer than the stock plates. Drill the holes (1/4"), and reinstall reversing the procedure. Did I say that it helps to remove the wheel?
