Restoran Keong Kee, Taman TTDI.
The stall owner was a cook from Lebuh Pudu 'Tai See Tow' and moved from Jalan Hick, we believe he served the BEST cantonese fried noodle in town. Must try their fried noodle with fresh water prawn (price from RM38 to RM45) and fried hor fun with beef (RM11). Unfortunenately, they have discountinued Singapore fried beehoon, which is also the BEST in town. As they are popular; average waiting time is 45 minutes and serving attitude is worsening.

Giant Supermarket, USJ.
A heaven for hawker foods. We love their 'Penang Chendol', fried kway teow, nasi lemak, etc.

Kedai Makan Chong Kee, Sungai Buloh.
Ipoh style chicken rice with bean sprout. Their chicken is smooth.

Song Fong Inn Vegetarian Restaurant.
This elegant restaurant graduated from a stall at Jalan SS2/72. We love their vegetarian food and believe is the BEST in town. Unlike other Chinese Vegetarian restaurants; theirs dishes are quite clear and unique. We never miss their abalone mushroom, fish, chicken with sesame sause, prawn, black mushroom with miang cun and bean curd skin with vegetables.

Choi Long Coffee Shop
This coffee shop is run by a Teo Chew couples and sell only chicken rice. Their rice, steam chicken and bean sproud is tasty.

Chong Fue Bah Kut Teh.
This shop is well known for their rice wine chicken. Their clay pot noodle is good too.

This stall's bah kut teh is one of largest and popular in the area.

Claypot Seafood Porridge At Restoran Kam Heong, PJ New Town
A smooth porridge served in claypot. This stall is reputed to use sole (fish) for soup base and don't put MSG. Average waiting time is 30 minutes.

Teo Chew Duck Rice At Restoran Kam Heong, PJ New Town
This stall is one of the two popular stalls at this coffee house. The teochew duck rice is quite popular and the ducks usually sold out at about 9:00 pm.

Toh Yuen at PJ Hilton
We visited this restaurant for dinner and ordered shashimi live lobster, sharkfin soup, peking duck, brasied beancurd, braised vegetable, steamed fresh water prawns and noodle. We find the service attentive but prices is steep.

This restaurant is known for its tender black pepper ostrich and cheese baked giant fresh water prawn (at RM80/kg).

Gondelin Vegetarian Restaurant
We had 'fried fish slide with pine seed', 'steamed fish with bean paste' and 'lo hon chai' vegetables for lunch. We find this place is a better vegetarian restaurant in the area and has a very posh setting.

Kam Ying in Bangsar
This reataurant's pork ribs which is deep fried and accompanied by excellent tomato and oyster gravy and also very good stewed pork- "kau yook" in Cantonese and of course the specially made baby kailan which is steamed with garlic.

A member of Chef Rasa Sayang chain with expensive shark fin and abalone menu. We find thier fried venison with ginger is excellent.

Restaurant Oversea, Plaza Lien Hoe.
Another chain Chinese restaurant. We savoured superior shark fins soup, suckling pig, braised abalone with goose feets, steamed patin fish and asparagus with mushroom. For RM140 per head, we expected a better dishes. However, their more conventional dishes are as expected in similar restaurant.

This club restaurant is opened to public. We find their braised shark fin (RM60/person) is nice; otherwise, food is average.

Hakka Restaurant, Bangsar.
A branch of Hakka restaurant. Their yong tau foo, hakka noodle, etc is quite popular. This place is divided into three (3) section serving halal Chinese foods, non-halal Chinese foods and steam boat in open air respectively.

Nanking Court Vegetarian Restaurant
We were there for lunch and had 'curry fish head', 'claypot game meat', 'sweet and sour squid', 'braised pork knuckle' and 'vege with beancurd'. We find the food ok but the manager attitude on recommendation is complusive.

Restoran Crocodile Farm Seafood Village.
This open air restaurant is situated on the bank of Subang Jaya lake, opposite Holiday Villa. We tried their shark fins soup, garlic crab, venison with ginger and spring onion, buttered prawns, fried squid, steamed seabass and fried asparagus with scallops.

Nam Heong Restoran
A branch of Jalan Sultan Nam Heong serving similar menu. We had steamed chicken, assam fish, beansproud and beef brisket soup for lunch, and is below our expectation.

Restaurant Sekachan, Sungai Buloh.
A seafood restuarnt claimed to have Sekanchan (a fishing village about 70 minute drive from here) connection. The fish is reasonably fresh and price is cheaper than restaurants near Subang Airport T3.

Restoran Village Chicken
This restaurant is known for its kampung (village) chicken, stuffed ikan kurau and chicken rice. We find their stuffed ikan kurau different; otherwise, food is dull and expensive.

Restoran Hainanese Maple
A rare restaurant that dedicated to Hainanese foods exclusively. They serve Hainanese chicken rice, golf ball size rice balls at RM1.50 a plate of five, assam fish (dried type), pork with sugarcane, etc. We find their chicken rice (which is drier than rice ball and has little chicken flavour), lamb soup (a strong and unconventional taste) and pork with sugarcane.
