This homepage is delicate to all those chefs that give us fine foods.

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you can find a wide variety of food namely: Chinese, Malay, Western, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Swiss, French, Middle Eastern, Indian, African, Mexican, South American, etc. You can have a meal from RM3 (USD1.0 is worth about RM3.8) per person at hawker stall to more than RM500 per person at exclusive restaurants. Hence, the choice is vast.

Quality of foods served by 4/5 stars hotels' restaurants are generally good. But, we find them very expensive, especially for Chinese cooking.
At any restaurant, 5% Service tax and 10% service charge is added to the bill.

Restaurants are grouped into six areas as follow:

Kuala Lumpur City Center (downtown) to be 2.5km radius of area ring by Jalan Damansara, Jalan Tun Razak (Pekeliling) and Jalan Istana.
North include Jalan Ipoh, Kepong, Batu Caves, Setapak, etc.
East are Ampang, Pandan Jaya, etc.
South covered area like Cheras, Kajang, Puchong, etc.
West side include Bangsar, Old Klang road, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, etc.
Outstation; any place more than 30km from Kuala Lumpur.

Rating
Exceptional, award only to the best in its class.
Above average, better than expected and recommended.
Average or as expected in its class. Any restaurant worth its salt deserves one.
