ODYSSEY
(21 June 1998)

mortal? ha!
i just made love with
                      you
took me to your caves
of desire
to your cliffs
of unreality
through your fire
your wind
your stormy seas
tormenting my naked ears
so sweetly
with your sighs
and cries
inviting me
to dash my
sanity
on your rocks
bright eyes
drawing me toward
  your sun
       lifting me to ecstasy
       on icarus wings
      disintegrating in
     your heat
    until i FALL
   with molten wax
  back down to weakness
 blissfully light-headed
barely alive
