Two of the three tiger cubs
at Rocky Mountain Wildlife Conservation Center.
We got to play with these unbelivable cuties and
get and give kisses. How wonderful! Gye and I brough
friends with us for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
if they donated money to help the center. (Nov. 2005) |

My
friend Lisa and I came across a white buffalo near
Crested Butte (July '97). I remembered a few years
ago, all the to-do about a white buffalo being
born and the great spritual significance it had
for the American Indians. We were amazed and stopped
and took photos. I did some research and found
out this was not "the" white buffalo
(named Spirit), but was special to us non-the-less. |

This
is a (poor picture of) the bale eagle who lives
near my house in the winter. He flies by my window
sometimes. I know where he hangs out and can usually
spot him when I try. Magnificant! I'm always on
the lookout during the winter months. - Winter

They
say it's good luck to be looked in the eye by a
white alligator. They are apparently extremely
rare. This one, at the New Orleans Aquarium, swam
right over when I looked in the tank and stared
me down. I saw another white alligator that year
in the Denver Zoo too. What luck - should
have played the lottery! - Memorial Day '96 |

Just
some friendly marmots at Rocky Mountain National
Park - have no idea when this was. |

My
brother, David, playing with a lion cub at an
animal park in Bandon, Oregon. Boy that cub was
strong. It wrapped its paws around my leg and
the curator had to come pull him off. Adorable
though! - sometime in the mid 80's? |
