Me with Charllie the resident bird
at Mishawaka. It's a wonderful music venue
and bar on the Poudre River west of Fort Collins
where Janet and I stopped for lunch as we took the
back-way to Steamboat. (Summer 2006) |

Judy, Janet and I stopped at South
Park (think the cartoon) to watch a burro race on
our way down to Valley View Hot Springs (summer 2005?) |

mountain at the quarry in Marble, Colorado on the

A hillside full of flowers
overlooking a green valley and snaking river in
Crested Butte. I think the area around Crested
Butte is one of the most beautiful areas in the
state. This was during the wildflower festvail
in July. - July 1997 |

"The Grottos" near Aspen.
This was the year we had lots of rain and everything
flooded, so the water was gushing! This place is
hard to find, so ask the locals. - July 1995 |

Me, standing on Cold Shiver's Point
at Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction.
For someone who doesn't have normally have vertigo,
I certainly felt it on that thing.- June 1995 |

Black Canyon of the Gunnison, in
on the western slope. These
photos don't not do it justice at all. This place
is amazing. Looks kind of like a miniture Grand Canyon
with black/green walls. - June 1995 |

Having a picnic at (what was once)
Peter's property up on the face of Boulder's foothills.
Incredible view overlooking Boulder and the front
range from Lyons to Denver and beyond - you can see
12 fireworks displays here on the 4th of July. |
|
Just one of the magnificant views of Rocky Mountain
National Park, which is just 1 hour away. We are
so lucky! |

The maroon Bells by Aspen. One of
the most photographed spots in Colorado. |

Cliff Pallace dwelling at Mesa Verde
National Park near Durango; one of the ancient homes
of the Anasazi Indians. Quite an incredible feeling
to walk where they walked. - June 1995 |

Sand Dunes National Monument in
Southern Colorado. This place is amazing. Sahara-like
sand dunes at the base of the Sangre de Christo mountain
range. Climbing to the top is extremely tiring, but
worth it. - Summer 1994 |
