MY TRIP TO COOKING SCHOOL IN TUSCANY IN 1999

       
The Duomo in Florence.   The beautiful backyard and vineyards where we at lunch, during our excursion to Pierre's organic herb farm.   The class, all dressed up, on graduation night in the bar of La Fattoria degli Usignoli, the beautiful villa where we stayed and had classes.

Having dinner and being treated like gold at what may be the best restaurant in Florence, Cibreo. I dropped the name of a chef in Boulder who told me to go there, so they just kept serving me small plates of their "best" dishes. Later in the week, Peggy (the owner of the cooking school) took us here for an evening excursion. It was fun to be recognized when I arrived with the group.   Making pizza.
