Reba McEntire has to be one of the hottest artist in country music today. Reba was born in McAlister, Oklahoma on Mach 28, 1955. Her first album, entitled "Reba McEntire" was released in 1978. Since then she has had an astounding career, in both music and in acting. Like I said if forced to pick I would have to say that she is my favotrite.

Her music has probably taken Country Music to the heights that it has reached today. Reba has given us chart blasters like "Fancy", "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia", "The Greatist Man I Never Knew", "Is There Life Out There", and not to mention all the hits off her newest album "I'd Rather Ride Around With You", "The Fear of Being Alone",and "How Was I To Know". Reba seemed to break the norm of the old country paving the way for today's newist stars.

I think that most would agree that what everyone likes about Reba is her spunk and her style. To me no one else compares. Every song that she does has meaning and touches the soul deep down where good music is meant to go. That is what it is all about. Music is meant for enjoyment and enjoyment should be Reba's middle name.
