Through the years I have
had many I call
friend. They come in all shapes, sizes, color and
creed.
Each and every one of them are
special and precious to me and have given meaning to
my life.
What is a person without a friend? I hold each and
everyone of them close to my heart.
My friends never turn me down when I am in need.
They stand behind me when the going gets tough. They
listen to me when ever I need someone to talk to or
complain to.
My dear friends of the past: Even though we do not
see each other often or some times never, I have not
forgotten you! You are always with me, in thought
and
heart.
Friends of the present: Thank you for
being you and for standing along beside
me.
My friends
come from all walks of life.
I have Rodeo friends, horse interest friends, friends of my children, friends of past employment, friends that are and have been neighbors, friends whom I have just met somewhere, and yes, friends whom I have never seen but write to.
You all are
important to me, and I love you all dearly.

I
am standing in a long hallway
when I notice something at the end.
I start to walk towards it
and make out the face of a friend.
It
is a picture with a golden frame
and the picture is of all of my friends I see.
I sit and gaze at the art
as it all starts to come back to me.
All of the people who I have loved
and those who have passed away.
A picture of friends from the past and the present
who in my heart forever will stay.
I remember all of
the good times
and the smiles and laughs we shared.
They stood by me strong
to let me know they cared.
I feel a rush come over
me
and know that my friends are loved.
The light then becomes bright
as I hear a voice from above.
Then the golden gates
open
and I meet the Lord at last.
I thank him for all of my friends
and the picture of the past.
Now I walk with all of my
friends
at my savoir's feet.
I have made it to heaven
and my life is now complete.
