My dad and my mother. Dad was really born in 1891. They are buried in Warroad, MN.

My ggrandfather. The name on the stone says Lars Thamsen. It appears they were trying to Americanize the name and eventually Tron became Tom. I'm sure my ggrandmother (Anne Andersdatter) is buried in the same cemetary but it is not marked. My ggrandfather died July 02, 1879 and ggrandmother March 23, 1895. Both were born in Norway.

This is a headstone for my maternal grandparents in Gilby, North Dakota. Thomas Albert Hunter was born in Cartwright Township, Durham County, Ontario, Canada August 16, 1872 of William Hunter and Janet (Rankin) Hunter, the 7th of 10 children. He died October 15, 1952 and is buried in Gilby, North Dakota. Jessie (McFadyen) Hunter was born June 17, 1871 of Hugh McFadyen and Mary (Gilchrist) McFadyen in Eldon Township, Victoria County, Ontario, Canada. She died July 20, 1949 and is buried in Gilby, North Dakota.

My mother's paternal grandfather and grandmother. They are buried in Prince Albert, Ontario, Canada. He died July 24, 1905 and she died March 12, 1921. He was born in Killead, Antrim, North Ireland and she in Glascow, Scotland.

My mother's maternal grandparents. They are buried at Glenarm, Fenelon, Victoria,Ontario, Canada. He died April 04, 1925, and she January 16, 1910. He was born on Islay Scotland and she in Fenelon, Victoria, Ontario, Canada.

My mother's maternal ggrandparents. They are buried at Glenarm, Fenelon, Victoria,Ontario, Canada. He died December 29, 1889, at the age of 81 and she March 11, 1908 at the age of 84. They were both born at Kildalton, Islay, Argyllshire, Scotland. Ronald's brother James is also supposed to be buried in this plot but there is no marking.

This is the stone on the grave of my gggggrandmother, Margaret (McAlister) Gilchrist who lived on Islay Scotland from 1700 to 1779. The stone is extremely weathered and has a little snow on it. It was taken for me at around Christmas time in the year 2000 by Freddie Bell, a resident of Islay.

This is Donald Cameron, Amelia McNeil, They are buried at Kildalton, Islay, Scotland. He died in 1834 and she after 1841. Recent research suggests that Donald was a brother of my GGGG grandfather, Lachlen Cameron.

This is the stone for Donald Gilchrist and his wife Mary McDougall. He died at Fenelon, Victoria, Ontario, Canada, July 30, 1908 at the age of 94. Mary died, probably in Islay, Alberta, November 30, 1922 at the age of 89. Donald is a brother of my direct ancestor, Ronald. This stone is in the Glenarm cemetary near that of brothers Ronald and Alexander.

Alexander was another brother of Ronald and Donald. He died July 30, 1903 at the age of 86. Alexander probably never married. His sister Mary who died October 21, 1910 at the age of 85 shares the stone. It was said that Mary had only one hand. I don't know the reason.

My wife's father, Ole Easthouse was born June 17, 1894 in Grand Forks, ND, and died November 06, 1979. Her mother, Anne (Tollefson) Easthouse , was born March 01, 1898 at Beltrami, Scandia Township, Polk County, MN, and died October 08,1987 in Minneapolis, MN. They are buried at Goodridge, MN.

My wife's paternal grandfather, Ole Easthouse was born December 22, 1862, at Austhus, Evje, Aust Adger, Norway and died in 2 May 1945, in Minneapolis, MN. Grandmother, Ingeborg (Klep) Easthouse, was born September 16, 1870 at Klep, Ardal, Aust Adger, Norway and died August 02, 1911 at Thief River Falls, MN. They are buried at the Silverton church cemetery near Thief River Falls, MN.

My father;-in-law's maternal grandmother, Anne Klepp mother of Ingeborg Easthouse was born June 06, 1852 near Byglandsfjord, Aust Adger, Norway, and died January 01, 1945 in Norway. She is buried at Ardal.

My wife's maternal grandmother, Hilda (Jorgenson) Tollefson, was born November 01, 1863, at Vatendal, Ovre Sirdal, Vest Adger, Norway and died March 03, 1934, in Goodridge, MN. She is buried in the Reiner Cemetery. This picture was taken in 1942. The stone has deteriorated to now be nearly illegible.

My wife's maternal grandfather, Ellef Tollefson, was born November 14, 1865, at Aavitsland, Evje, Aust Adger, Norway and died August 04, 1955, in Goodridge, MN. He is buried in the Reiner Cemetery.

Ellef Tollefson's mother was born September 09, 1825, at Omli, Injordet, Norway and died December 25, 1896, in Aavesland, Evje, Norway. she is buried at Evje, Norway.
