HOW
DOES THAT WORK? - Curious as to how something works?
Wondering how or why an engine runs, what makes a plane stay up in the
air, or anything at all, before you go to the encyclopedia....... give
Marshall Brains how stuff works a try.
www.howstuffworks.com
Have a qestion about something. You could surf the internet or
use one of the many surf engines such as google, yahoo, lycos, etc.
They all work. For something a little different try Ask Jeeves.com,
also known as Ask.com. Type in your questions and see what you come
up with.

NEWS
- Well some people read the daily news paper. I prefer
to check out the daily news sites. That way I can take an hour every
morning to get caught up on all of the local, as well as world affairs.
I simply book mark the news sites that I want and frequent the sections
that intrest me. Some of them are news sites, others are simply daily
information. Nothing special about it, but here they are. www.cnn.com
www.ajc.com
www.postgazette.com
www.bizjournals.com <business
related>
I know alot of people in Atlanta, including myself, who like this
next site. It has some daily (although the news is sometimes older
repeated news) information about random consumer related topics,
aka money. It also has a descent travel section which lists low air
fairs from Atlanta. But anyone can use it to get an idea of what
airline sales are going on.

TRANSLATORS

TRAVEL
- There are a ton of travel web sites out there. Some are
easier to use than others. Some are easier for certain types of
people to use than others. So here are a list of the ones that
either I use, or that people have sent to me. Most of the others are
sent to me from Aisha. But the most important thing when looking for
bargains is flexibility. I know that you have heard it over and over
and over but it is true. www.weather.com - they've
got a world section too
www.lonelyplanet.com - the
travel book's web site
