A hippie is not always a person who wears tye die, listens to 70s music, has a lave lamp and posters with peace signs yings yangs , flowers, in his/her room. A hippie is more like a state of mind; it is a person who is carefree and is in love with life. Whether they are old or young, they believe in the true meaning of peace love, and happiness.
Their exuberantly exotic concepts of clothing suggest that they regard themselves and their decoration as their own greatest works of art; one mystical source of this is the idea that one's person is sacred.
I didin't know too many things about hippies but i got a lot of hippie spirit from my friend, (Peace Adela;-) .She's the best neo hippie in the world and she was the first "preacher of love" for me. there are many hippies arround us but we don't always see them... I don't consider myself too much of a hippie but i think that no metter what eachone of us has a little "hippie spirit" inside ! So make LOVE not war, give PEACE a chance!
