to Apply

for deciding to apply for membership in the guild of avatar creators.
There
are a few points to check before you apply:
1.
You've read, understood, and agree to abide by the guild
rules.
2.
You do not currently have the guild membership logo on your page !
The
logo shown below is the members logo. You are allowed to use only the link
logos not the membership logo before your membership is accepted. For more
details read the logo usage rules.
3.
Your site is past the basic construction phase.
What
does this mean ? We understand that peoples sites are constantly changing
and underconstruction, but we need to get a general feel for your site
and avatars before admitting you. So your site should be navigatable and
contain a good selection of avatars (at least 20).
4.
The avatars on your site are of a reasonable quality.
This
is difficult to judge but basically it means over half your avatars should
be of a good quality with only a few poor avatars. Some examples are shown
below:

Things
to avoid
1.
The first avatar is badly blurred.
2.
The second avatar is very dark, some simple editing could have brightened
it up.
NOTE Your avatar must be in GIF format, JPEG
format does not work in virutal places at all, and BMP format only works
on windows pcs, not MACs, it also doesnt show up in most browsers without
an additional plugin. |
