He is not great but quite a good artist. His interest in music run more deeply than just listening to songs. As for the types of music, he prefers the rocks and some instrumental and classical scores. If you asked him which artist does he admire most, he would answer: "Search! Definitely!". He thought of Search (yes, as in the local band Search) as being the best band in the world. He has been collecting their albums but one thing he regrets, he has never got the chance to see them performing live. As for Khairul's most favourite song, November Rain by Guns & Roses is his choice. "The song just got into me..." he says. Metallica, Aerosmith, Chicago and Air Supply are also in his lists of great artists.

Movies have always been an attraction to Khairul. He likes romantic comedies like Nine Months. On the other extreme, this guy also watches The Godfather and other heavy dramas and action movies such as Face Off. He really admires Al Pacino, Tom Hanks, Robin Williams, Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. Talking about his own performances, it has been known that he has always taken part in his school or college's stage performances.

Apart from these two main hobbies, this guy is definitely a computer addict! Ask him anything about Win 95 or the Internet, he will give answers. One of his visions, apart from building his own great theme park (yes, by the same name of his channel - GaGaLand™), is to open a computer link throughout Malaysia. He had mentioned once to use CyberGaGa™ as the link's name. Is that some kinda vision or what!

Controversial Views

Khairul is known among his friends to have been given strong views about his beliefs. His main interest is in the area of his own people - Malays. He is not a racist and he is against racism. He is one of the proud Malays that would not put his people behind or below others. "I have been born a Malay and I will stay one forever. But there are lots of Malays out there do not remember where they have come from. We are in the verge of great and glorious success under the leadership of great leaders but still there are a few others left with degrading way of thinking. Those especially have been abroad for so long will start saying that they think like the Brits or Americans or something, shamelessly. Would you hear other people saying these things? No, only Malays. This is their specialty. Backbiting and hatred amongselves have always been the greatest obstacles of our success strives."

Khairul, despite being in a large circle of friends and families, is an individualist (now that is contradictory to what his people believe in...). He believes in individual opinions and rights (but the example above about his people is an exceptional case...). He will do what he wants to do (as long as it is rightful to him) with or without the consent of others. But, he still thinks that people should take into account what others think and that we should try to avoid hurting their feelings as hard as we could. He hates people who talks bad about other people. "If I were in power, I would put these people in isolation!"

He is also against cruelty to women and animals. Women (or girls in his case...) should be protected and loved and not to be mistreated. As for animals, they should only be killed for food and not for other purposes (now where did we hear that phrase from?).
