Membership Criteria

Membership of The Legion of Frontiersmen of The Commonwealth is open to all Commonwealth Citizens between the ages of 18 & 65, who are of good character, fit to serve and are willing to give their time - without recompence - to the service of their Country and local community. A Military background is advantageous but not a pre-requisite of membership. Membership of the Legion of Frontiersmen of The Commonwealth does not obligate the member to any military service, nor does it preclude any legal obligation to Military Service, such as National Service etc. Members are expected to provide themselves with the required uniform and equipment as laid down in the Rules & Regulations, at their own expense. Membership of The Legion of Frontiersmen can be terminated at any time by writing to the Command Adjutant.
