Canadian Forces Base Trenton is located on the shores of Lake Ontario in the Quinte tourist region, 160 km east of Toronto and 280 km southwest of Ottawa.  Located within the City of Quinte West (population 42,000), the nearest centre is Trenton which has a population of 16,500 and is 3 km west of the Base. Belleville has a population of 37,000 and is 13 km to the east.  Trenton opened in 1931, with Siskin fighters and Tiger Moths initiating a tradition of continuous flight operations.

CFB Trenton is home to 8 Wing, as well as eight of our exchange personnel. Three of the positions have been there for years, and five more began in 2002, to reciprocate for CF exchange positions in USAF C-17 squadrons.  They are assigned as follows:
