My name is Romana, but I think my mom keeps forgetting that because she usually calls me "chirpy girl" or "pretty birdie girl" or other silly things instead. I'm a cinnamon pearl cockatiel. I turned 17 years old on May 3, 2001 but I've been told I don't look a day over 2. :-) I have 2 little brothers, a canary named Gabriel and a conure named Jester, and a 2 very little sisters - parrotlets named Smidgin and Lucy. We like to chirp, squawk and peep at each other, and Gabriel bounces around a lot, so I have something to watch when mom's not home. My favorite foods are Cheerios, Nutriberries, Crazy Corn (the Rainforest Pudding Flavor) and whatever mom's eating.

Aren't I pretty! Well, my mom and I think so anyway. My mom is pretty nice most of the time, letting me help her eat breakfast, poop on her shoulder and fly around the house. She has to shut up the dogs first because one of them thinks I'm dinner. He actually got a mouthful of feathers once! Mom's a lot more careful now. There are still some things I don't understand though. She won't let me carve the edge of the computer desk, chew on the mousepad, prune the artificial plants, texturize the top of the lampshade, shred her correspondence or do a lot of other fun stuff! She also won't give me millet anymore after I got very sick with liver trouble a couple years ago. Now I only get pellets (Roudybush Liver Care formula) and healthy people food.
