This many people have visited us, THANKS!
We have been having a lot of fun and have joined the SCA- the Society of Creative Anachronisms, where We are learning calligraphy and archery. It's rather fun! On our webshots page, there are pictures of some of our events. Sharon has roped Matt into joining the SCA with us.
The SCA is a group that recreates the middle ages. As you can see, Matt is a "heavy arms fighter" - he gets into armor, picks up his shield and sword then goes out onto the field and hits people (and tries to avoid being hit himself). Sharon is more artistic and makes a lot of awards that are given out by doing calligraphy and drawing, called illumination. We team up, Mom does the calligraphy and Sharon does the illumination. To see some of our scrolls that we have made, go here.
You can learn more about the SCA by going to it's website: www.sca.org.
