In the end of October, 2000, our very cool cat Findus disappeared. We did everything we could think of to try to find him, but to this day, without success. We advertised, put up posters and distributed flyers. When he had been missing for a couple of weeks a woman called and said she thought she had Findus in her garage so we rushed over there. What we found was a tiny kitten who was the spitting image of Findus. We took her home, and soon we found out that she was a very sick little kitten, but we managed to nurse her back to life. Now we fondly refer to her as "Findus' daughter" and you can read her story here:

I guess I'm one lucky kitten! I can't remember why I was in that garage, I just remember that I was cold, starving and very scared. I was picked up by Ida (who now is my hu-sister) and brought to another house where it was warm and I got food and water. I was also very dehydrated and I had a terrible diarrhea. My belly was so bloated that I could hardly walk.

The next day they took me to a scary person they called 'The Vet' and she did all kinds of things to me. I weighed 2 lbs and he thought I was about 8 weeks old. She also said that I had an upper respiratory infection and that I had three different worms, tape worm, round worm and whip worm. Especially the whip worm is very nasty and little kittens like me are not supposed to have them at all!

I was a really sick kitten and it was uncertain if I was going to make it. They gave me lots of medicin, good food and love and slowly, but steadly, I grew stronger. Then suddenly I got my permanent teeth and that is supposed to happen when you are 6 months and at this time they thought I was only 2.5 months. So I was 'upgraded' to 6 months instead. I was just a really tiny kitten.

Soon I found out that I have several siblings; a cat brother, a dog brother and a dog sister. I get along well with all of them and I especially like to play with Molly. Her tail is always wagging and I think that's a very fun toy, made just for me! I also love to snuggle up with her for a nap, but when I begin purring Molly gets scared as she thinks I'm growling. Well, it's not easy to understand dogs!


My big cat brother Sir Jerry and I have a lot of discussion do to. I know that he's bigger and stronger than me, but I have to show him that I'm SOMEBODY too! He's been nice to me, though, we just "paw" each other for fun!	My big dog brother Conrad is a very gentle guy and we get along great. We like taking naps together.


The weeks went by and I grow stronger and stronger and I really started to enjoy playing...	...and then one day something REALLY fun happened! A big tree was brought in just for me to practice my tree climbing skills!


Another day I found something else that was really fun, it's called a computer. I can go fishing and I can play games or just walk on the keys and mess everything up!

I am celebrating my first Christmas with my human, feline and canine siblings. But I'm a bit tired of all this photographing so I decided not to cooperate! It's Nina with me and Conrad, Ida with Molly and Marcus with Sir Jerry.


Most of the time Brasse and I are very good friends and love to snuggle up together,	You are not going anywhere without me, are you??
