Boo's Nooz!

Carrie

At the time we went to get Boo, our two big dogs had just had to be put to sleep (they were very old, 10 and 12 years) and Tony was the only dog. I wanted to get another little male because I never wanted to have to change my Tony in any way, including getting him neutered. And I wanted Tony to have a little brother to "lord it over". (We have since had both Tony and Boo altered.)

But, we got to the breeder lady's house (this was the same place where Tony had been), there was a pen of about 10 little chihuahuas in the front yard. The first puppy my husband picked up was Boo! I told him no way because we had to have a boy!

Boo
We looked over all the others and I loved them all, but Randy kept going back to Boo. Needless to say, we took Boo! She only weighed 3/4 of a pound when we brought her home. She was as little as a rat.
She wound up having hypoglycemia in her first few months and then she got sarcopic mange. I had to bathe her in stuff that within a few weeks, dropped all the hair off her little tiny body. (She was soooo cute!) She, of course, didn't appreciate all these treatments from me, and even though her "Daddy" worked out of town all week, and she only saw him on weekends, she became very close to him. To this day she is totally in love with her "Daddy". If she could live inside of him she would be ecstatic. She just cannot get close enough to him.
