Stephen MARKS b. Apr 17, 1799 married Joanna WESCOTT on Nov 19, 1820 in Blue Hill, ME She was b. Mar 4, 1800 in Penobscot, ME and d. 1875 in North Penobscot, ME (This is all from her stone in Penobscot, ME) daughter of William WESCOTT and Margaret HANEY.

Sewall A. MARKS b. 1842 in Blue Hill, ME married Sarah Margaret STOVER on Nov 16, 1865 in ME. She was b. Jan 7, 1837 in Penobscot, ME daughter of Alonzo STOVER and Sarah LEACH.

Charles S. MARKS b. Mar 12, 1869 in Blue Hill, ME married Beatrice O'BRIEN on ? Beatrice b. ? in New York, New York. daughter of ?

We went on vacation up to Blue Hill Maine. William Marks son of Richard Marks, went to Maine. Stephen Marks his son was born in Brooksville Maine. We didn't find the town of Brooksville. We hope to go back next year to find more info on the family. On this page I have cemeteries and pictures of headstones. I found many relatives there in Maine. I did find Stephen Marks and Johanna Wescott (as it is written on her stone) and their son Benjamin. This was such a joy to find grandparents. Please stop by this page.
