This page is dedicated to answering veterinary medicine questions. Due to the time committments of starting my new job of practicing veterinary medicine fulltime, I will no longer be updating the page weekly. I will answer questions as they are submitted and enter them on the site under the appropriate category. If you would like to submit a question, email the question to me. I will research the question to the best of my ability and post the question and the results to the page as well as directly to the author via email. The author of the question will be given credit unless they indicate they desire otherwise when submitting the question. Please realize that this is NOT a diagnosis page. Diagnosis cannot be made over the phone or over the internet. So please do not submit questions like my animal has X, Y, and Z symptoms, what is wrong? This page is intended to answer questions about general veterinary, behavior, or training issues or to give information concerning specific disease conditions, specific drugs, etc. Also please realize that I am practicing veterinary medicine full time so do please be patient. It may take a while for me to properly research a question.
Now that the rules are out of the way, let me say that I want this to be an informative but fun page. No question is a stupid question. If you are wondering about something, chances are others out there are as well. So please submit any veterinary medicine, animal behavior, or training related question(s) that you have.
The questions that have been submitted over the time that I have had this page have grown tremendously in number. For that reason I thought it would be more efficacious to group them together by topic than to merely list them. The following are the categories that I have grouped the questions into. I have also added some individual pages that are dedicated to just one topic. Just click on the ones of interest. Please feel free to email me with any topics or questions that you would like added. As always, I appreciate comments, suggestions, and criticisms (preferably of the constructive kind) of this page or any of the pages on my site.
