Welcome at my bird homepage. At last I have found time to tell you about
the two beautiful birds I own. Since 1984 I have been a bird lover. Especially
parrots are my favourits.Since 1987 I have a couple of cockatoos.
Every year they have one or two chicks. They feed and nurse them very
good. And after twelve weeks the young birds are ready to go to their
new owners. Many times I hear that it is amazing how well the parentbirds
take care of their young. Most of the time the parents don't look after
them so the owners have to feed the young birds themselves. Three years
ago I had three young in one nest. This was too much for the parentbirds,
so I fed one chick myselve. The young stayed in the nest and every four
hours I fed the chick with a little spoon. At this moment my birds are
sitting one two eggs, so within four weeks I hope to have young birds
again. I'm very interested in other exxperiences of parrot owners. So
please tell me about it. I hope you like the pictures of my birds and
some of their young. .
