Mom left us here again by ourselves! This time she has gone to Florida. She has never gone there before. I sure hope there aren't very many places she hasn't gone 'cause me and Fuzz don't like it when she goes away! Those goofy old aunts, Dodie and Lilka, come over to see us and feed us. Aunt Lilka is doing better now that she has 2 kitties of her own, but that Aunt Dodie hasn't had a kitty in so long that she just doesn't remember how to read a kitty's mind!! Mooch |
Aunt Lilka and Aunt Dodie came over today to see us. They watered Mom's plants, too. I don't know why they didn't let us go out on the balcony to eat those plants. Mom wouldn't mind, really!! Mooch |
Mom came home!! Mom came home!! Yeah!! We missed her so much! And she brought home all kinds of stuff, too. Seashells, and sand, and postcards, and new clothes, and a new plant - a palm tree!! Mom threatened me and told me I better not pee in her palm tree like I did the banana tree. Well, why does she bring things like that home if I can't use it for a potty?? Maybe I can chew on it instead! Mom says she will have lots of pictures from her vacation real soon.Mooch |
Mom stayed home with us kitties today. She was supposed to go to work today, but she called work and told them how much she missed her kitties and they let her stay home. We had all kinds of fun going through all that stuff she brought home from Florida. We especially like the sand. I wonder if Mom would care if I use it for a potty instead of the palm tree?? Mooch |
Mom went to the greenhouse again today and brought home more stuff to plant. She got some really pretty flowers, I can't wait to nibble on them when she's not looking!! And she got more stuff for that garden at Aunt Dodie's house. They all look tasty to me! Mooch |
Mom is at Aunt Dodie's house working in the garden. I don't think she took the catnip seeds with her. Me and Fuzz are gonna be soooooo mad if we don't get catnip from that garden!! Mooch |
Me and Fuzz pulled a good one on Mom tonight! Mom's friend Brian came to see us again, and when he was leaving, Mom grabbed me and held me so I wouldn't run out the door. She knows I always try to. So while Mom was saying goodbye to her friend and holding me, Fuzz dashed out the door and down the breezeway!! Mom was sooooo surprised she didn't know what to say!! Mom had to run and grab Fuzz before he headed down the stairs. Then she put us both in and shut the door. Good one, Fuzz!! We'll have to trick Mom like that again someday! Mooch |
Today Mom let us go out on the balcony with her and help plant all those flowers she brought home the other day. We sure had a good time digging in all that dirt! Mom just hates it when I try to dig myself a potty in one of her plants though - she always yells at me and scares me!! Since she wouldn't let me use that dirt for a potty I just decided to walk through it and then walk into the apartment and leave dirty little kitty paw prints all over the place. That should teach her!! Mooch |

Mom worked so hard yesterday planting all those flowers that she was really tired and fell asleep early. She didn't realize till she got up this morning that she had left the balcony door open ALL NIGHT LONG!! Well, me and fuzz knew it, but we didn't wake her up to tell her - nope! It was sooooo funny - when Mom got up this morning she found Fuzz sitting in the bedroom window looking outside meowing at something. Mom thought it was probably a bird, so she went to the window to see, and boy was she surprised to see ME out there! We had the most fun all night running in and out, in and out!! And we nibbled all of her new flowers too! Mooch  |
Mom has run off to Aunt Dodie's house again to work in that silly garden of theirs. Doesn't she have enough plants here at home?? We kitties wouldn't mind her gardening so much if she would just take those catnip seeds with her and plant them!! She gave some of them to Aunt Lilka to plant on her balcony for her kitties. Why, oh, why won't she plant some for us?!?!?! Mooch |
Aunt Dodie has really done it now! She thinks she is gonna get rid of a bunch of stuff she has collected for the last 100 years or so, so she called Mom and Aunt Lilka and Aunt Poggi and Aunt Allyn and told them to come and get whatever they want. Well, Mom only brought home a few things, some books and a couple of other silly things. But Aunt Allyn took home everything she could get her hands on!! We don't know what she is gonna do with all that stuff!! Mooch |
We heard that Grandaddy Longlegs moved way far away to a place called Washington state. We have no idea where that is but Mom says it is even farther than Georgia or Florida. Well, maybe since it is so far away Mom won't ever go there?? Mooch |
