Sanity returns on Sunday

IN REALITY, Matt Brady is a professional "mascot" and animal impersonator
working trade shows, conventions and parties, including network television and
a couple of entertainment gigs at the White House -- yea, THAT White House!.
It was Matt in his $6000 bear suit that we used for the dock photos,
while it was Dave Hill (above) in the suit for the diver dressing shots.

AS WE WERE getting the bear rigged, Jim made a late afternoon dive in his
Aquala suit with the Aquadyne AH2 helmet. Note Matt tending in the bear suit (right).

ON SUNDAY Rich Estey dived the Chinese rig,
and two new visitors showed up.

MIKE ZAFONTE AND JAKE BECK had met Jim Folk through their interests in sport motorcycles,
and diver Jake (left, in Boyd's Aquala/Aquadyne AH2 rig) wanted to dive everything in sight.
Mike pitched right in as tender, and his only reaction was, "I gotta get certified!"
Willow Springs had just set up a "Frisbee Golf" course in the park
and one of the first foresomes, of course, overshot and lost one of their special disks
into the water just off the concrete dock. The water was so clear, we could
spot it easily from the surface, and Jake made his first genuine salvage dive.
The classy part was when he surfaced (right) and then made a perfect toss
up the bank right into the hands of the golfer -- without even taking off the helmet!.

THE SEPTEMBER FUN DIVE wrapped up with Jake in Boyd's Viking suit
and Kirby-Morgan band mask (left) while Dave Hill dived with him in his Superlite.
The two posed together (right) for the last shot of the day.
