Mercer Island Skatepark, located in Mercerdale Park near QFC downtown, was the first western Washington skatepark introduced. The only good thing about it is that it's better than Enumclaw. The bank has the Sea-Tac kink feel to it, and the pyramid is clearable, but most likely you'll go right into the grass (just like Des Moines). There are two ground up bulkheads along the perimeter to the park. Also, a bunch of rails is less than 500 feet away, but you better do your thing there fast because everyone on Mercer Island has a cell phone and cops are always just a few blocks away.

Bathrooms: Nope
Water: Nope
Landscape: Open, a few trees on one side
Other: Nothing

Grinding: Couple of lousy bulkheads
Jumps: Small Pyramid
Crowds: A bunch of little kids going in circles on bicycles
Specials: Nothing, not worth the trip unless you want pictures for your webpage, like me.

Directions: From I-90, take exit 7. Go down 77th until you see the park. You may see signs for "The Plaza," the skatepark is lacated in the back.
