Christian A. Strater Gardens:

The Christian A. Strater Gardens are located along the Charles River in Allston/Brighton. These community gardens, located along the "Charles River Bikepath", are build solely by community effort, recently a master planner was assigned to help the plot "owners" with the overall design of these gardens.
The Strater Community Gardens consist of a larger landmark in the shape of a modern (working!) windmill, which pumps water out of the Charles river for irrigation.

Like the "Victory Gardens" these community garden plots are hard to come by; the waiting list is long...
