A native of Austin, Texas, Russell Coffee is a public speaker and author on the environment.
In 1987, Russell earned an Economics degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He then studied environmental issues, Sustainable Development, and U.S. foreign policy at the Institute for Central American Development Studies in San Jose, Costa Rica.
On Earth Day 1996, Russell published The Truth About Rainforest Destruction. Russell currently gives speeches and teaches seminars on rainforest ecology and environmental policy. He has spoken not only to environmental organizations, but also to schools, religious organizations, and senior citizen groups.
